Anthony David Gonzalez played American football for 17 seasons, as a tight-end in the National Football League. Gonzalez is considered to be one of the best tight ends in history. Additionally, he was the NFL's leader for receiving yards, and the third in total receptions, Gonzalez was also one of the NFL tight end who had the highest number of receptions.
Former Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez currently serves as a FOX Sports Studio analyst. Gonzalez was a guest as a guest on FOX NFL KICKOFF (FOX's hour-long NFL pregame show prior to FOX NFL the SUNRISE) and is broadcast each Sunday at 11:00 AM ET throughout the NFL season.
Gonzalez's claims of retiring in the NFL at the end of the year 2013 wasn't true. The 15th of March, 2013, Gonzalez was signed by the Falcons a 2-year contract for $14,000,000. Randy Moss announced his retirement in 2012, as did Gonzalez (37 year old) was the NFL's leading receiver.
